Cigarette smoking
Excessive intake of alcohol or coffee
Super Calcium Complete helps to maintain healthy joints and minimise Calcium loss. It also helps maintain Calcium and Magnesium levels to maintain bone strength and function.

Special Benefits
Super Calcium Complete is a high strength scientifically developed bone support formula. Each tablet provides a total of 270mg of elemental Calcium from two highly bioavailable sources including Calcium citrate which has been shown to have 20-66% greater absorption than Calcium carbonate and Hydroxyapatite the actual bone matrix of bone making it a superior Calcium formula.
The formula also includes important nutritional cofactors needed to maintain bone health and Calcium absorption. This includes Vitamin D3 to provide the specific carrier needed to transport Calcium across the lumen of the gut plus Magnesium needed to assist the utilisation of Calcium in the bone remodelling process.
In addition Vitamin K Zinc Manganese Boron and Horsetail herb (a source of Silica) provide nutritional benefits in maintaining bone mineralisation strength and density.
Getting enough Calcium whether through your diet or supplements is essential to maintaining bone strength. However many men and women do not consume enough Calcium in their diets.
The recommended daily intake (RDI) of Calcium for women aged 19-50 years is 1000mg and 1500mg for postmenopausal women aged 50 years and over.
The key steps to better bone health include:
A healthy balanced diet rich in Calcium and Vitamin D
Weight-bearing exercise
A healthy lifestyle with no smoking or excessive alcohol intake
