Aussie Hemp Flour

Ananda Food Aussie Hemp Flour comes from the hemp seed cake and is milled to a coarse powder. The resulting powder provides a texture and fibre to many products and still contains on average 15-20% protein.

Hemp flour is an excellent addition to your baking, adding the benefit of hemp proteins and the excellent fibre content of the hemp seed.

Try it in breads, pastas and muffins. Hemp flour doesn’t rise because of its high fibre content and lack of gluten, so you can’t bake with it alone; however, you can mix it with other flours.

For a heavy loaf of bread, use a 3:1 ratio. If you’d like hemp flecks in your bread, a 7:1 ratio will achieve the desired results.
