Zeo Natural Australian Organic Certified Activated Superfine Zeolite Powder (Clinoptilolite)
All clinoptilolite zeolites are hydrated aluminosilicates which means they contain water.
Natural zeolite powder contains this ancient water and naturally occurring microbes drawn into the zeolite structure during its more than 300 million year formation.
If you want a completely whole natural mineral, this zeolite is the one to choose.

Zeolite powder is the best combatant against heavy metal toxicity
We can’t avoid exposure to heavy metals and chemical pollution. When these contaminants build up in your system they can cause a wide range of health problems such as a weakened immune system, gastrointestinal disorders, skin problems such as psoriasis and many other disorders. One of the many benefits of zeolite powder is helping to detoxify heavy metals and other toxins.
The Dangers of Heavy Metal Toxicity
Heavy metal toxicity can be the underlying cause of a wide range of health problems.
This list shows just some of them:
autoimmune diseases, candida, food intolerances, histamine intolerance, anaemia, heart disease, diabetes 2, digestive disorders, low enzyme activity, fatigue and low energy, kidney dysfunction, liver dysfunction, skin problems, anxiety, panic attacks, agitation, irritability, hostility, aggression, anger, rage, violent thoughts and actions, mood swings, depression, suicidal tendencies, anti-social behaviour, confusion, disorientation, loss of coordination, low memory retention, cognitive impairment
The most common heavy metals causing these problems are LEAD, MERCURY, CADMIUM and ALUMINIUM. Avoiding exposure is difficult as they occur naturally in the air, water and soil. Other common sources are food, cigarettes, bushfire smoke and exhaust fumes.
Some heavy metals have excretion half-lives that last for decades. Zeolite can speed up the excretion rate because of its ability to quickly trap a wide range of heavy metals along with other harmful substances.
LEAD is absorbed by ingestion and inhalation, stored in the kidneys, bone marrow, liver, brain, bones, teeth and hair and excreted in urine, faeces and breast milk.
MERCURY is absorbed through the skin, by inhalation and ingestion, stored in the kidneys, blood, spleen, brain, liver, bones, breast milk, hair and fatty tissues and excreted through bile, saliva, the pancreas, the kidneys, skin, breast milk, finger nails, toe nails and hair.
CADMIUM is absorbed through inhalation and ingestion, stored in the liver, kidneys, pancreas, blood, the salivary glands and bones and excreted through the kidneys and liver but excretion rate is normally very low.
ALUMINIUM is absorbed through inhalation and ingestion, stored in the lungs, liver, thyroid, bones and brain and excreted through the urine, in faeces and in breast milk.
Zeo Natural’s Australian Organic Certified zeolite powder significantly reduces heavy metal levels in the body.
How to Choose a Pure, Safe Zeolite Powder
For the safety of your health, the most important thing to consider when choosing a zeolite powder is its purity and stability. You can tell about both of these by looking at the mineral composition and age of a zeolite but you can’t tell by reading marketing material. Always ask your zeolite supplier for a technical data sheet which shows its mineral make up.
Purity
Australian Organic Certified Zeolite is very pure as it is 100% zeolite, comprised of 85% clinoptilolite and 15% mordenite which are both recognised as safe, stable, therapeutic zeolites. It also contains traces of quartz, feldspar and montmorillonite within the mordenite.
Other zeolites are not as pure and may contain only about 65% – 75% zeolite material including heulandite and stilbite which are not stable. The remaining mineral material is usually a combination of clays, feldspar and quartz.
Australian Organic Certified Zeolite does not need “cleaning” or “sanitizing” to make it pure as any dissolved salts which were present have been removed naturally by time. Australian zeolite has had plenty of time as it is 300 million years old compared to zeolites from other countries which are only about 65 to 100 million years old.(4) If a supplier states that their “pure” zeolite needs cleaning it is most probably a young zeolite.
It is not necessary to remove heavy metals from zeolite to ensure purity as any heavy metals the zeolite may contain are permanently bonded and cannot be released into the body. The only way to remove heavy metals from zeolite is to destroy its structure, making it no longer a zeolite.
It is also not necessary to remove heavy metals from zeolite to make enough room for further uptake of toxic matter. To say otherwise is false marketing.
Stability
Clinoptilolite has a very high degree of stability(1) and so does mordenite(2) making Australian Organic Certified Zeolite a very stable zeolite.
Heulandite and stilbite are unstable (1, 3) and so are many others, another reason to study the mineral make up of a zeolite before deciding to take it.
Age is a factor in stability. Australian Organic Certified Zeolite is mined from what is thought to be one of the oldest commercial deposits in the world.
